THE GIFT is the original form birthed by Shematrix. It is an extraordinarily powerful journey into Ritual or Sacred Space where a remembrance and embodiment of one's true nature is evoked. This initiation is a unique experience for each being, yet seems to resonate with a common core of all beings, where each knows what it is to be utterly seen, honoured and welcomed home. It is an undeniably powerful, yet often unspeakable experience that has profound ramifications throughout one's whole life.

Many women have attempted to put into words the depth and scope of the experience of participating in THE GIFT - A Woman's Rite to HerSelf. All have failed, gloriously, yet here we go again, attempting to communicate something of the profound and sacred transmission that unfolds during this extraordinary 3 days in the company of women, each on her unique path of uncovering her deepest, authentic Being.

The Gift - A Woman's Rite to HerSelf is a 3 day journey into the mysterious and unknown territory of the Feminine Self. It is a Rite of Initiation. The space created in The Gift is a most safe and sacred place of validation and transformation. It is not for fixing anything or therapy of any kind, rather it is an exploration and celebration of the ancient Feminine mysteries.
It is a spirit journey.

It seems that women receive their own calling to this space from perhaps a kind of deep cellular memory, that reminds each of us that we are in our own right a unique embodiment of the Divine Feminine and it is time to celebrate Her.

She is valid exactly as she is, no matter how she looks, feels and experiences herself and her world. This reawakening to her essence as Woman, validates all that is precious, exquisite, untamable, tender, creative, destructive, desirable, formidable, potent and fertile. Indeed all that is paradoxically and chaotically present in one being at any moment is the very stuff of the mystery of the Feminine. She remains ultimately unnamable. It is She who drives men crazy with her unpredictability, yet She who also inspires the pursuit of the noblest intentions in the most courageous of souls. She has taken many forms and been called Goddess by many names in ancient traditions. Ultimately she was honoured as The Great Mother herself, she who is guardian of the mysteries of life, death and rebirth. In these times of uncertainty and perilous imbalance on our planet earth, She seems to be crying out for remembrance and reaffirmation. A reawakening of the sacred, the respectful cooperation with our planet, it's cycles and balance in all beings seems imperative in both men and women if we are to survive in a healthy world into the next millennium.

It seems the alchemy of this change must happen in ourselves, in not only our behavioural and energy patterns but in our cellular bodies. The Rite is a space where healing can occur on many levels, from the deeply personal to the collective or transpersonal.

The 3 days of THE GIFT are always held for a maximum of 21 women. Much is based around the circle, a sacred form where there is intrinsic equality of all beings. Hierarchy is not possible in a circle and in this exploration each member of a circle contributes equally to it's creation. It is a unique weaving of precious individuals.

There are always at least 2 Guides from Shematrix present to facilitate the journey, each having travelled extensively, by many paths, into this deeply sacred and transformational territory. There are no teachers. or therapists who are 'telling you how it is'. The Guides are present to hold each of those present in absolute respect for their individuality and to ensure the psychic safety for each woman to dive as deeply into her truth as she is ready.

The exploration into one's own deepest wisdom is both deeply personal and extraordinarily transpersonal. There seem to be archetypal qualities that we each recognize as familiar and the glory in having these energies embodied, witnessed and celebrated is healing in the very deepest part of our being. Women speak of the total and unconditional acceptance as a home-coming, a relaxation into Self, a return to the soul's own knowing of it's purpose in this body. This re-activation of one's true potential for living has tangible effects in one's daily life. Once initiated into this form, women who have experienced this Rite continue to meet regularly in a day of feminine nourishment, support and diving deeper into the mystery.
