men story

Letter accompanying the delivery of catered food by beloved brother Bruce Morris to the Gift weekend in Austin, TX on July 24, 25 & 27, 1998.

My Dear Goddesses,
Ever since I have been so blessed to receive the magic of The Gift in the name of The Grail, words have come to me that I am often moved to share. So my food today comes with an offering of poetry. Saying that I offer this to you sounds odd, for it is yours to begin with. The words merely flowed from the heart of the Goddess to the pen of this humble warrior-servant. I hope the poem pleases, if you choose to read it, as I hope the food I have prepared for your journey had honoured you even a fraction as much as I am honoured to serve you.
Love, Bruce.

P.S. Richard Bach writes, 'There is no such place as far away. If you want to be with a friend, aren't you already there?

Finding comfort in the
formerly foreign
Sinking into the
immeasurably deep
Releasing into
nothing-to-hold-me
Knowing I am held
Safely, Eternally
Embraced by that
which does not exist
and is All there is.
Aching for a Union
Ever elusive
Loving
the Ache.
